Donna Felger works on a project in the village of Fond des Blanc. Wheels 4 Life is currently considering to support her project with bikes. We are in the process of figuring out the logistics and the best way to ship the bikes to Haiti; since there are no suitable bikes available for purchase in Haiti.
The organization I work with is St Boniface Haiti Foundation — please look at our web site it is very informative. I am a nurse and my husband is a physician and we have traveled to Haiti for the last 5 years doing medical missions in the village of Fond des Blanc at the hospital funded by St Boniface. My husband was recently asked to join the board for the foundation. We have seen firsthand the needs of the people in the village. The people of the village are very supportive of our mission and the hospital is able to employ 60 of the local people benefiting the community greatly.
