CamelBak Donates Bottle Proceeds to Wheels 4 Life

CamelBak International intends to donate 1000 of its new ‘Better Bottle’ to ‘Wheels 4 Life’ at the upcoming Eurobike Show in Friedrichshafen.

CamelBak sells the new bottles at their Eurobike booth at a ?10.00 promotional price and donates the full proceeds to Wheels 4 Life. This non-profit organization aims to provide people in Third World Countries with bikes as an important means of transportation to school or work. “As an outdoor recreational brand, originating in the bicycle culture, we must remember that for millions of people a bicycle is an important asset, a means to a better future, not merely a recreational vehicle. Aside from the proceeds, we also hope to generate more interest and support for ‘Wheels 4 Life’ as an organization” states Julien Guardiola, International Events & Communications Manager at CamelBak.

Wheels 4 Life Partners with Journey School to Send Bikes For Christmas

Journey School is a Waldorf-inspired charter elementary school located in Aliso Viejo. Situated adjacent to Aliso/Woods Canyon Regional Park, students often take to their bikes to explore some of the 5,000 acres of wilderness right next door.

On Friday, December 9th their 11:00 a.m. bicycle field trip will take on a whole new spin. The children will help former trials riding champion and world renowned extreme mountain biker Hans Rey, launch his new charity, Wheels 4 Life. The goal of this charity is to provide bicycles to people in third world countries so that they can elevate their standard of living. In this case, these Orange County children will hold an on-campus bake sale to raise enough money to send bikes to children in Mexico.
